  3. You can make Maine Guide Camp Coffee. In any pot throw a couple handfulls of ground coffee ,crack an egg into the grounds add the shell also and mix up good with a fork or spoon , add water to cover by a couple three four inches and boil 10 min or so . Let it settle a couple of minutes off heat and pour. It breaks every rule but it tastes good.

  9. I have had a black and decker space maker for several years, but they require regular maintenance, so that the element does not get covered with mineral buildup. Otherwise the element can fail. When you buy your new coffee maker, follow the manufacturers cleaning instructions and it will last a long time.

Easy! Take 2 cups, fill one with water and heat in microwave for 1 min. Take the other cup, place a paper towel over the top, gently push down into the cup the center of the paper towel cover to create a pouch or reservoir. Place coffee in pouch.(1-2 Tbsp.) Now hold each side of the paper towel against the cup to secure it from falling into the cup and slowly pour hot water into the pouch till it fills, wait for it to drip through. Presto! Brewed coffee. (Repeat as necessary and enjoy)

  13. I’m not a regular coffee drinker, so I do not own a coffee machine. On those occasions when I do make a cup of coffee, here’s how I do it.
Put water and coffee in a pot on stove and bring to a boil. Turn off heat, cover the pot, and let it sit for five minutes. Take a colander and rest it in a large bowl. Take a coffee filter and spread it out inside the colander. Stir the brewed coffee in the pot and pour it into the filter and let it drain into the bowl. When it is done draining, fold up the filter with the coffee grounds and throw it away. Take the colander out of the bowl, rinse it and put it back into the dish drainer. Pour the coffee out of the bowl and into a cup. Enjoy.

  21. I found a very used Black and Decker single cup coffee maker in the dumpster and I used it for 6 years not replacing anything. Then the rubber died. But I suppose the office building it came from used for 10-15 years. So I trust Black & Decker.

  23. for a quick fix, try to do a ‘hand press’, place ur filter in a cup,put some finely ground coffee and pur boiling water in a circular motion. Or get some strong, coarsely ground coffee, boil it then pour it over a strainer or a filter. For the long run, buy a french press! :D

  31. Take a filter and put a couple of tablespoons of coffee in it. Then tie the filter up at the top to close it-like you close a loaf of bread. Twist it up around the open end and put a bread tie on it. Put it in some water in a saucepan and heat it to boiling. Once it boils for a few minutes let it steep in the pan.
Doing it this way keeps the grounds out of it.
    Voila coffee
    Good luck
