31 July 2009 in Coffee makerIs coffee powder cheaper than instant powder in the long run? My whole family drinks coffee, especially my domestic helper needs at least 2 coffees in a day. Economically, should I change to coffee powder instead? I’m finding that I need to replenish my instant coffee soooo often!

Instant coffee actually costs more in the long run.
It comes in packets, and you cant choose to have multiple servings per cup as you can coffee beans.
Try using coffee beans, first off the flavor is better, and you’ll get more coffee from a few ounces of beans than you do from a few ounces of powder
If you make it to the same strength, it makes no difference.
yick…instant coffee is so not good….why not brew….
