What Is It About The More Expensive Coffee Makers That Make Your Coffee Taste Better?

i noticed a big difference when i upgraded my coffee maker to a more expensive one. I was wondering other then the price whats the difference that makes the coffee taste. like how it brews or something mechanical in the machine.

  1. There is a lot of reason why coffee tastes good/ bad. The main reason why some coffee makers make bad coffee is the water pressure and temperature, i.e. water being not hot enough… etc. However, another is the control of timing, i.e. how much time the grounded coffee interacts with the water, hence producing coffee, it is usually set by the company, and this is a key element contributing how coffee tastes.

  3. I think it has to do with how it brews the coffee.
    I have a middle grad coffee maker and ther is an “Aroma” button on it. I always use this option, it takes a little longer to brew but it extracts more flavor from the grounds making the coffee more stronger and tastier

  5. Heating the water to close to boiling makes a huge difference.
    I find most of the automatic coffee makers don’t heat the water hot enough.
