19 July 2009 in Coffee makerIt doesn’t matter if I order the same Vanilla Spice, three sugars, and cream…it always taste different. It comes down to me running to the Dunkin Donuts that makes it better without me breaking down the order. I thought that places like these had precise measurements on how much you should add in each coffee.

Depending on the area your in. The water filtering is different.
cleanliness of machine and individuality of workers and water source
I don’t know but it really does taste different depending on location
Water quality makes a huge difference. If they use filtered water, the coffee will definitely taste better. Hard water that is heavily chlorinated can even put an edge on great coffee.
Yeah, but there are different water supplies.
i agree diffrent water and maybe they are cheaper in some places and dont use as much scoopings? who knows go where you enjoy the must, we have the same problem here up in NJ
First they use public water, second the water temp they set the coffee maker to makes a huge difference. That is why even if you buy the coffee they sell and you make it at home it will still taste different. They make it at a very high temp almost boiling.
it all depends of the types of water that run through their machines. another thing that also affects these kind of things is if their using added water booster machines to send water to their coffee machines. the more the water runs through machines the more it start to taste different.
the water and the freshness of the coffee
